Sleeping On Air!
When Helen Wolstenholme gave birth to her twin girls, Grace and Eve, like all mums, she was concerned for their well-being. Helen recognised a good sleep was an important factor in their growth and wanted to choose a mattress that would not only promote development but also help them rest properly.
"When the girls were very young," explains Helen, "we used a hammock-style bed which suspended them with womb-like movements. So when it came to choosing their ‘big beds' we wanted something that would do the same."
Helen, and her husband Nick, shopped around and soon came across the PurFlo cot mattress. "One reason I chose PurFlo was because it had a similar feel to the hammock and meant that the girls were quite literally sleeping on air. We also live in a dusty old house, and I am amazed at how much dust would be embedded in a conventional mattress. Now I just whisk off the cover and wash it!"
Adds Helen: "When I showed it to a friend of mine, who happens to be a doctor, she was impressed by the design and asked me for details because a friend of hers, who is pregnant, had asked her for advice on beds. Other people I have shown have also been interested - my friend with twins asked me only last week for details. As a mother, I feel the PurFlo cot mattress gives my girls the healthiest, dust mite-free sleep they can get."
